Mats Jonasson’s talent as a designer attracted attention early on, when he started to work as an apprentice engraver at the glassworks in 1959 after leaving School at the age of fourteen.Over the last few decades he worked with many of the most respected contemporary glass artists in Sweden.

Inspired by Ancient Sagas, Mythology and reality, Mats Jonason has created the human faces within his new MASK series where he presented a unique blend of colour and design.

He is the imminent glass artist and designer, in our time now, who has world wide reputation for his accuracy in design perfection to detail and quality to true nature.
